Four book projects

Self-publishing

Kryspin helped me through every step of the process. He reviewed binding formats, showed samples, provided quotes for different materials and services, and gave me guidance on submitting my manuscript. The cover he created was exactly what I was looking for and matched the theme of my book perfectly. Kryspin responded quickly with excellent suggestions and advice. I felt like part of the team and maintained creative control at every stage. The layout was printed exactly as I asked, the costs were very reasonable, and the work was completed on time. I highly recommend Krysp Designs and plan to use his services for my next book.

Questions authors ask

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Can you help me self-publish on Amazon KDP?
Yes. I can prepare production-ready paperback, hardcover and eBook files, help you make practical format choices, and guide you through upload and proof review. Your KDP account and royalties remain yours.
Do you design both the cover and the inside of the book?
Yes. Cover design can include the front, spine and back cover, while interior design covers typography, margins, chapter styling, images and final print files. You can book either service separately or combine them.
Do I keep the rights to my book?
Absolutely. You retain your copyright, publishing accounts, rights and royalties. Krysp Designs works as your design and production partner and delivers the agreed final files to you.
Can you help me get an ISBN in Canada?
Yes. When your book needs its own ISBN, I can guide you through the Canadian application process and help with barcode setup after it is assigned. My standard service does not include supplying an ISBN or acting as your publisher; the ISBN remains registered to you or your publishing imprint.
Can you print my book locally in Edmonton?
I can help coordinate local printing, review proofs and prepare files to the printer’s specifications. The best production route depends on your quantity, page count, binding and distribution plans.
How much does book design and self-publishing help cost?
Pricing depends on the manuscript length, complexity and services required. After reviewing your project, I will recommend a practical scope and provide a clear estimate before work begins.
Do you work only with authors in Edmonton?
No. I work with authors throughout Alberta and across Canada. Edmonton-area clients also have the option of local meetings and hands-on print coordination.
